God Damn I have been fucking busy lately.

I'll have to sit down and write a meaningful entry soon, I have to write a god damn rough draft tonight and all i want to do is lay down and sleep, shit. I have 2 rough drafts and 1 paper to complete by next Monday basically. And I still need to finish 200 pages of a novel and read Of Gramatology.

SHIT at least my phone calling is done for Gavin. Oh man I am tired ugh.

Things I'd like to see

I wrote this shit down in an email last night:

I am a huge proponent of the abolition of the central bank and fractional reserve lending practices. These practices will never work sustainably for they are set up to fail and set up for the most affluent to gain the most while the middle class is effaced. Fortunately for me I am not alone, people of my thought process already have a bill drafted and have been campaigning but I am trying to spread the word as well. Fiat currency is the only logical currency type for the modern markets but fractional reserve lending habits create an entropic economic situation.
http://www.themoneymasters.com/mra.htm

Ending the FED will save 400 billion a year in interest alone, hopefully we could begin to clean out some of the corruption tied to fed as well. This could maybe lead to the end of other disastrous corrupt failures, the drug war is a blatant failure costing the US 50 billion a year (last time I checked this figure may have increased) for operating costs of the various agencies and another ~100 billion in incarceration fees for nonviolent drug offenders who should be in treatment not in a cell. That is 150 billion more right there (not even including the potential for tax revenue if we were retroactive and pardoned non-violent drug offenders as they'd be able to work again). And if we are sensible and realize legality and taxation is the only feasible approach (my proposal is MD consultation and recreational drug prescriptions so people can have their health monitored and have consultation about their recreational drugs as well for their safety while eliminating children’s access to drugs (at least most of it) as the drugs will be behind the counter of a pharmacy) we will reap the rewards of all the new tax revenue.

Medicare can be reduced drastically,
In California we are pushing for single-pair health care, what this will do is reduce our health insurance providers in the state from 600 down to 1 state provider with a profit cap at 5%. In addition malpractice (as 50% of the suits are filed due to losses from medical billing) will be cut in half thereby reducing the costs of medical treatment easily by 30% or more. Personally I'd rather see a 100% socialized health care system for I feel this is one of the essential services Adam Smith described that he felt the government should provide for its people (with this we could have price gouging regulation, improved research, and no more malpractice law suits at all). I would not 't be surprised at all to see our nation's health care system operating at a quarter of the costs it does across the board today. The other major benefit of health care reform is the return of jobs that America will see; companies no longer having 1000's of dollars in health insurance overhead per employee will be able to hire more people and give higher wages. We'll also be able to bring factory production back, to some extent, to our nation.

Those are the less radical sides of my ideas,

I also see no reason to be in Iraq or Afghanistan any longer (nor was there ever any reason to be there at all). No Middle Eastern nation presents any threat to my liberties as an American, the only thing that does is the war on terror itself.

We also need to audit all the corporate theft of the previous and present presidential administrations to see who stole from social security the most, as one of my professors put it, "If social security were left alone to run the way it was designed it would never go bankrupt" - prof Bill Gudelunas. The social security system is rampant with corruption and it needs to be cleaned up.

I'd like to see increases in funding for higher education and job training as this will only boost our GDP, it is proven historically and never has been disproved that if you fail to educate your workforce your nation falls behind in the global economic competition field. (I know this is an initial investment but it pays out in the end, that is why it's an investment and not an economic sinkhole like the Iraq war).

A socialization of the power grid would be a blessing; the lies perpetuated by the media about energy scarcity are appalling. The Earth alone radiates 96,000 zeta joules of usable geothermal energy each year and the human race consumes, as a whole, a half a zeta joule a year. MIT has predicted with adequate research we could have an entire power grid of geothermal energy within 20 years. This would allow us to return to eclectic cars with the new hybrid and ultracapacitor technology you could easily see 300 mile range electric vehicles. (the present design challenge for ultracapacitor vehicles is to drive 100 miles on a single charge, charge for 60 seconds and drive 100 miles back. That is the right now as we speak, imagine in a few years). Couple this with a maglev rail network (since theoretical maglev designs predict traveling speeds of over 1000 mph ) and you have yourself a zero emission domestic transit setup all run on infinitely renewable energy that never dwindles). This ends the "US dependency on ANY oil; not just foreign! The reason socialization is needed is simple: presently GE heads up the research funding for MIT’s research into geothermal power, and as you may or may not know GE is controlled and majority owned by the Rockefeller family trusts. These same trusts control a few small companies such as Exxon-Mobile and BP. Clearly they are not interested in a zero emissions oil free infrastructure.

I feel the monopoly that is ignored over our power, water, and gas resources in our nation needs to be addressed. As far as I know next to no one gets to choose who their power company is and I know here in California if we're an inventor who knows how to generate our own power it's illegal to do so; pardon the technical term but that is bull shit. My grandfather worked for Southern California Edison as a machinist and an engineer. I know all about the projects they scrapped because they were too cheap and efficient. If the government runs these resources we have a say in their behavior and they will be designed to operate at maximum efficiency rather than maximum profit. I do believe in the market (not a laissez faire one however) but in industries where there is no competition and no possibility for completion often times socialization is a more sensible answer.

Finally I want market oversight and re-regulation. Reaganomics is an atrocious failure, people need to wake the hell up. Deregulation is not a good thing, it always ends in disaster. We need strict hedge fund oversight to ensure they are not able to orchestrate another industry bubble such as the housing crisis they just swindled. With over 2 trillion taken in the last year and a half out of our common consumers hands that is that much less that is getting spent and taxed. We need to fine and punish corporations who siphon our labor overseas and who have no regard for their employees well being. And lastly, the government needs regulation to hold corporations to a means of sustainability. Few if any corporations presently operate in a sustainable fashion, the FED is one of the worst offenders, this practice needs to change because we only have one planet.

Oh man it has been a crazy week so far

Well the first week of Spring Quarter is almost wound down and it's been a crazy one! Today was probably the most hectic one, class started at 930 and ran till noon. Then at one we had the first get together for my upcoming conference I'm really excited about it :). I want to produce a paper I can truly be proud of! After that I took a nap for a few hours then woke up and went to our UCI young democrats meeting. I found out it's illegal for us to actually call it UCI young democrats and we are supposed to say Young Democrats at UCI; fucking bureaucrats! The UCI YOUNG DEMs meeting went well :). I am helping organize our upcoming health panel to discuss single pair, socialized health care and if we can find any libertarians or conservatives whatever their thoughts on the matter as long as they are intelligible (if they come with that John McCain deregulation shit they get the GTFO award).

I had a really awesome conversation about economics with a foreign exchange student, Micha. It was a fun to discuss the issues in depth with someone who knows there stuff. I'm still stunned at how fluent Micha is to be able to fully debate economics in English! Damn man superior education system isn't the word for it!

After I got home it was time for the fun action, Julie and I went to the Detroit bar in Costa mesa. First we went to a hole in the wall Mexican food place and had nom nom Mexican food more like back home, not the white washed bull shit that is closer to our house. I still haven't had John show me the uber Mexican food in Santa Ana yet. Once we'd eaten it was time to go to the Detroit bar, after a few openers we finally got to see my favorite band Autolux :D! We missed out seeing them quite some time back at the Glasshouse so we were making up for it. My friend Hai joined us, he was the one who told me they were coming so thanks a million to him :)! Oh man they kicked so much ass. Half the set was new material which was a relief since they've not put an album out in a while it's good to know they've been working on a great deal of tracks. The pwnage was great even though we were hot as shit sweating all densely packed in. There were a few heads there who seemed to like them as much as me the rest were scoring epic scene points which I believe functions as hipster currency. Autolux even came out to do 2 encore tracks which was a huge treat since half the acts I see always don't give a shit to do such a thing. The atmosphere at the Detroit bar was different I wasn't quite sure what they were going for but it was intimate enough. After the show was over I thanked the guys for their music as I've abused it for years now,it's inspired a great deal of artwork as well.

Today was certainly more packed than my normal ones! But it was a very good day :D

Spring Break is Over

Spring Break is now done, I have class tomorrow. I still have one paper left to finish from last quarter's incomplete, I have begun it and hoped to finish it today but I didn't get enough sleep. I see no reason why it won't be done tomorrow. I decided to get a bit of rest for the second half of my break since I was working to finish up most of last quarter for the first half of it. It's only a week long anyway that is not even enough to get a taste of rest haha. I am looking forward to next quarter, I suddenly as of a few hours ago have a full schedule and I have my undergrad theory conference coming up on Thursday, followed by Autolux :D !

I did wind up going to the LAN Jerod hosted today, I was on the fence a bit with it because it was only for the day instead of our usual over-nighter that we do. We had fun despite the short duration. TF 2 was a bunch of fun today and unreal 2k4 haha. I am so tired right now I can barely type, I am looking forward to wrapping up in blankets and waking up to tomorrow :).

So close to being done with all this damn work, one paper left. Julie is stir crazy and wants to go to the beach, I'm trying to get everything done, I'm a bit burned out.

The financial crisis is pissing me off, it's so easy to begin the proper setup to not have the major issues we presently have and most of the solutions being presented are in completely the wrong direction. A major Chinese banker is the latest IMF puppet throwing out the idiotic idea for global currency and reserves via IMF. Fractional reserve banking needs to be fucking stopped and it needs to be stopped now. FUCK THE FED, FUCK THE IMF, and FUCK THE WORLD BANK!

Another long day

Today was definitely not the most stupendous day ever. Yet again it took quite some time to get down to working. I began work on one of my two papers but didn't finish it, which I really wanted to do today the latest. I read a portion of what I have left to read but nowhere near what I wanted to have done. My pace has been much slower than I'd anticipated and compared to where it's usually at.

Julie and I watched Barack's address that we almost got tickets to. The issues he was discussing were right up the alley of what I wanted to ask about, man I'd love just 5 minutes with him ha.

So tomorrow is a very heavy day for me, I've got no time to waste. I really don't want this quarter going beyond Friday, hopefully that is when I finish everything. I'm really looking forward to a fresh start next quarter, no more family interruptions, no more funerals, just regular paced life with a focus on school.

One final down and the end of the day of sodomy

Though long ago my friend and I made October 15th the official "Day of Ass" today (i guess yesterday technically now) was really close. At 1:30am my car started rattling and we had to pull over and have it towed home, the radiator was out of fluid and water fortunately I had both in the trunk, but it took a while for the car to stabilize. That ate up a good hour or two as Julie and I were checking for leaks and shit after filling the radiator back up, for some reason a spark plug had popped out so I put those all back in correctly. the check engine light is still on but the car is running properly now, that was a total pain in the ass. We didn't get home from test driving the car to make sure it was OK till around 4 or 5 in the morning. That raped most of my time I'd intended to study for my German final.

This morning Julie woke up to go try to get tickets to the Barack Obama town-hall meeting, I REALLY wanted to go to it and ask him a question or two if they'd have allowed me.
1) It's now proven that the central bank of the US is a complete failure and that Bernanke does not act on behalf of the American people and only has bankers interests at heart. Not to mention the fractional reserve system is a complete entropic disaster and needs to be abolished immediately. What steps would Barack take to aid us in getting congress to take action and again print our own money supply instead of borrowing it from the FED at interest and to remove our nation from fractional reserve banking practices. If these two steps would be taken the IRS would be disbanded, Inlation would be curbed (and if a properly distributed money supply were to take effect -3% increase a year - inflation can be curbed nearly all together) eliminating the unconstitutional federal income tax we are all subjected too would be one hell of an injection as all that money would go into taxed transactions within the economy, since at present 0 dollars of federal income tax go to anything but the FED.

2) While I appreciate Barack's efforts with the green energy WHYINTHEGODDAMNFUCK did he choose wind energy? Wind is the least effective most assenine waste of time in the green energy movement. Solar and Hydro electric both out produce those but even better than all three rolled into one is Geo-Thermal power. We presently have operating geothermal power plants in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. They are a best kept secret of the power Monopolists because they'd provide power so cheap there'd be no point to there monopoly (wait there is no fucking point to there monopoly, socialize our power grid god damn it!). At present GE is <strike> stalling </strike> funding the research. Can we get a government program to protect Americans from these asshole corporate conglomerates who are fucking progress like it's their own sex slave? We need protection against corporate exploitation of intellectual property right laws, we've lost so many batteries and solar power plant designs due to these damn laws. The earth presently radiates 96,000 zetajoules of power a year and the human race as a whole (all 6.7 billion or so of these damn dirty apes) only consumes a HALF a zeta joule. Remember WE ALREADY HAVE THIS FUCKING TECHNOLOGY we just need to improve it, within 20 years the entire earth could be power by this. Couple this with maglev rail systems and ultracapicitor hybrid electric vehicles you'd have a near zero emissions domestic transit network for fractions of a percent in energy production costs of what we are paying now. Why do we have to get fucked by a greedy bunch of dick?

Who's the real president of the United States, Barack or Bernanke?

After Julie waited for a while we didn't wind up getting our tickets, a bunch of dickheads from the news gobbled up the tickets 6 at a time, these are the same cocksuckers who have failed us for the last 8 years, now you are wasting my one chance to have actually asked a real hard hitting question to see if Barack is actually in our corner. Then there were the ignoramus cheerleaders from the High school across the street with their lame ass pageantry questions. And the Chalinos who got tickets in their sol blocking tejanas who probably don't even have papers besides the Barack tickets we should have gotten. The ugly parts of the Democratic party were all outside, nut-jobs with inane healthcare \ workmans comp questions which all would be irrelevant if they'd SOCIALIZE FUCKING HEALTHCARE. The reason I am so upset is because we were about 10 people away from actually getting to go and you bet your ass I'd have stabbed a mother fucker in the throat for that mic.

While she was there trying to score our tickets in vain I was at home trying my best to master what I could for my German exam, I haven't really retained a great deal this quarter I've had so many memorials, vigils, funerals etc to attend and lost so many people that mattered to me school has been kinda hazy. I crammed quite a bit and felt fairly confident... then i got the exam. Sodomy is the only word for what that final did to me, so much of what I studied was irrelevant. I felt like shit after leaving that room, last quarter it felt like a weight had been lifted, this one felt like I got absolutely shafted. I just hope I can get a B in the class I don't want it to screw my GPA in the kiester.

Julie and I went out to happy our after and I got a margarita on the rocks - on St Patrick's day I know blasphemy - I don't usually buy drinks out in the regular world I just drink at home, it's cheaper and there are less asshole everywhere. Julie and I observed the horde in their common setting, drinking carousing, hitting on the waitress and leaving her a skimpy tip after harassing her ass for several hours. The sleazy business crowd is always amusing to watch, I kinda feel like it's a free zoo trip and we actually get to be in the cage with the animals. Hopefully someone closed a deal today, cause my day was now illegal by US anti-sodomy legislation, hopefully the German department doesn't get into too much trouble.

On a good note, I watched hackers one tonight, that movie is so great it makes me laugh all the way through. I love the 3d calculus equations swirling around in the trash bin and the rejoicing over the 28kbps modem, especially cause I actually had one of those back in the day ph34r!!!

For now I just gotta move forward, hopefully in a few days I'll walk right again

Holy hell it's already Monday AM, where the hell do my weekends keep going. Time is just floating off lately, it's definitely a pain in the ass. I am behind where I wanted to be on my work. I didn't really goof off much today but the day still vanished, ugh. I may have to do a late night work session to try and get caught up. I am really eager for this quarter to end so I can stabilize but I also want to do well this quarter so I've got a good lot of work ahead of me :\. I wish the hours would stop burning up so damn fast, and I really wish my sense of which day of the week I was on would return; these things I find are beneficial in not getting reamed by life, at least in this kind of life with deadlines etc. Hopefully I get something accomplished tonight :O We'll see...

So Julie has been coaxing me for a while to make a Live Journal and I finally got around to doing it. I recently got a rude awakening about how short life can be, having lost a friend of 17 years I have been in shock the last few days. I'm finally coming back into reality and to grips with everything. I've got an ass-load of work to complete by next Friday then this quarter is finally done. It's been a very rough one, someone has died on me every two and a half to three weeks out of this ten week quarter. I am going to miss them, some far more than others (sorry Grandma) but I am really tired of crying and watching people cry. I'm doing my best to get momentum back, working on moving forward, and working on making the most out of my life. My friend kept a journal of almost everyday of his life, I hope to do that here. I have learned people like to retrace each step once you're gone corporeally, i guess it allows them to keep the memory alive.

It's remarkable how fast all the symmetry in your life can be stripped away. Your stasis, which is so delicate and ornate, can be kicked in the fucking balls until it crawls away with next to nothing left. Afterwords if you do stop and think, make damn sure it's about something important 'cause life's about livin' and dyin', well that's a given.

RIP David,
and for Me,
On with Life.
